"Mom, why did you name me Davy?"I knew this day would come and I felt like I was prepared, but trying to explain some adult concepts to a 3 year old is a little daunting.
"Ummmm. Well, we named you after a woman named Davy. She was...."and then I went on and on and on and on.
Davy just looked up at me indifferent and partially confused.
"I wanted my name to be Little Foot."
Um duh, any parent would obviously consider Little Foot as their first choice, and if you had a boy he could be Sharp Tooth. She is genius.
